Today, we're delving into a topic that's close to the heart of every mother out there—the importance of filling our own cups first for health, wellbeing, and happiness. In the beautiful and demanding role of motherhood, we often find ourselves putting the needs of our children and family before our own. However, taking care of ourselves is not an act of selfishness, but a vital step towards being the best versions of ourselves for those we love.
As we navigate through the busy lanes of life, it's easy to postpone our health and fitness goals. We often tell ourselves, "I'll start tomorrow," or "I have time to make a change." But the truth is, that elusive 'tomorrow' isn't guaranteed. Life is unpredictable, and the future is uncertain.
We often operate under the assumption that time is on our side. We think that we can neglect our health for a while, focus on our careers, family, or other obligations, and then when the time is right, we'll get back to prioritizing our well-being. But here's the reality check - we never truly know what tomorrow brings.
I want to address a topic that affects over half of the world's population but often remains shrouded in secrecy and misinformation – the menstrual cycle and how it can impact women's overall health and energy levels. Understanding and adjusting workouts and eating habits to sync with this natural cycle can significantly benefit not only women but society as a whole.
The menstrual cycle is a complex interplay of hormones and bodily functions that usually occurs over a 28-day period. This cycle can be divided into four distinct phases: the menstrual phase, the follicular phase, the ovulatory phase, and the luteal phase. Each of these phases can influence a woman's energy levels and overall well-being.

In our journey to holistic wellness, understanding the synergy between strength training and yoga is crucial. I’ll explore how combining these practices can enhance your physical and mental resilience as a mother.
While yoga offers numerous physical and mental benefits, relying solely on yoga movements can potentially lead to injury due to several reasons. Yoga primarily focuses on flexibility, balance, and body awareness, but it may lack certain elements that contribute to overall muscular strength and joint stability.
